Meet Our Founder
Pamela Marshall founded The Community Bread after overcoming her own challenges in Los Angeles and ending in Skid Row. Her lived experience inspired a vision of compassion, dignity, and community support

Our Mission in Los Angeles
The Community Bread aims to achieve the following in Los Angeles: feeding people who are hungry, combating isolation and loneliness, pointing people towards affordable permanent supportive housing, offering additional support to people in housing programs that don't have onsite case management who need a little extra help, and offering employment preparation services and job training to those who are able and want to work.

Our Core Values
If The Community Bread was a person, its core value would be understanding. We strive to see the world through the eyes of those we serve, offering compassionate support and fostering a sense of belonging.
